Located at an altitude of 1800m in the heart of the resort of La Mongie, on the 4th floor with elevator of the residence Face Sud, this warm 31m² studio, fully renovated in 2020, will comfortably accommodate 5 people:

  • triple bunk beds in alcove

  • convertible rapido

• fitted kitchen (combi oven, dishwasher, hotplates glass-ceramic ...) 

• bathroom with rain shower, WC suspended

•  washing machine, wall-mounted TV, large cupboards, numerous coat hooks

• south-facing balcony with breathtaking views of the ridges and slopes,

• covered parking space in the basement of the residence

• locker at skis with double sledge available

• amenities:

  • less than 100m south side: chairlift, beginners' carpet and ski schools

  • 50m north side: mini-market

  • for ski hire in the residence

  • within 200m: tourist office, Pic du Midi cable car, restaurants and other shops

In winter, with more than 100km of trails, breathtaking landscapes, snowshoeing, introduction to biathlon, its freeride areas, its sled dogs, its friendly restaurants and shops, La Mongie welcomes and takes care of everyone.

In summer, a pasture area for sheep, cows, horses and llamas, the place is calm and the menu of restaurants is always so tempting. The Col du Tourmalet, "Le Géant des Pyrénées”, welcomes every day many cyclists with a lactic smile and hikers eager for wide open spaces. A few kilometers away, canyoning, rafting, caves, caving, horseback riding, paragliding, mountain biking, via ferrata, falconry, aquatic centers, animal parks… allow you to appreciate the magic of this region in many ways.

All year round, from the top of its 2877m easily reachable by an impressive cable car ride, the Pic du Midi offers an incredible contrast between mountains and plain while offering many activities and scientific exhibitions in connection with its observatory. To recover from these emotions, a little local gastronomy: let yourself be guided by the producers and traders of the surroundings, you will not regret it!

This apartment aims to be a base camp that is both practical and convivial for discovering this wonderful region. Direct access to the ski lifts as well as the immediate proximity of restaurants and other shops place you, summer and winter, at the epicenter of La Mongie.
